This year July I spent time at Yarrie. Yarrie is a cattle station just out of Marble Bar, WA. I was there during muster season. It has taken me a few months but I am finally sitting down and going through the many images. Whilst editing I am listening to a song about Yarrie station, you can listen to it here , first song of the list.

Mustering at Yarri was a special time for me. Cant wait to share more

One Armed Point, to me the point of OMG what is it beautiful up here! Located 3 hours north of Broome in the peninsula of Cape Leveque. You just spontaneously want to pull out a block note, take a seat on the side of the blue blue ocean and write a book.

Or paint a picture.
Write a song.
Become a musician.

Even if you don’t write, paint or sing you just feel like you can

I love my job. When not photographing gorgeous couples, brides and mums to be I am travelling with my camera, capturing unique moments in unique places. This time I travelled to Broome to take pictures in the indigenous communities located 3 hours north of Broome in stunning peninsula Cape Leveque. Bellow photo’s are taken at Chilli Creek. A Big thank you to Roma whom let us stay at her campground and thaught me so much about her country. And a big thank you to grandson Ashly whom showed me the ropes. I learned how to fish and hunt for crabs, had the privilege to eat oysters fresh from the rock and lots of fruits and other yum things growing on trees. She also let me in on the history of Chili Creek, Beagle Bay and other neighbouring communities. Thanks again Roma and grandson Ashly, you guys opened my eyes for new worlds

If you find yourself travelling up Broome way, definitely stop in at Roma’s place and let time just take you!

Late afternoon is the best time to hang out on the beach, I reckon. How better then to kick back with a beer, your mates and a stunning sunset to watch.  Peaceful!
